Sunflowers....

I wore this dress for Father's Day.  Even though I wasn't able to spend the day with my dad it turned out to be quite fun although I could have done without the heat.  Boy is it going to be a long summer.  I found this dress on a recent trip to Macy's, and it was a steal of a deal.  Its part of the Rachel Roy for Macy's collection and I love the twist on the snake print.  I drive by this field of sunflowers every morning and it couldn't be a more perfect backdrop for this dress.

All Juicy......

I have always been a fan of the cutesy items that Juicy Couture designs.  I am sure you all remember when those velour sweat suits were all the rage and have since completely fallen off the fashion map. Unless of course you visit one of their outlets where you are quickly reminded of just how popular they once were.  I was recently reminded of just how much I love their designs when I happened upon the cutest neon leopard bag which brought me to their website which brought me to this post. Spotted....

This very cute distressed denim jacket by Leith at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.  They didn't have my size available in store so I ordered it and its on the way.  I know its warming up but you all know I love a denim jacket and this one will be a great addition to my collection, fingers crossed that it looks good.  If you love it too pick one up here.

Pink Stripe....

I love a great classic print and style with a twist.  I found this dress awhile ago at Neimans and regretted not getting it. It showed up again at Nordstrom and now its mine.  Its a basic fitted stripe shift but the one bold pink stripe and pin tucks at the waist make it one special piece.

The Mix Up...

I have a confession to make.  Two Sundays ago at church during announcements we were told that the next Sunday was hat day, or so I thought.  I have never been big on wearing hats but the thought of wearing one of those fabulous hats with bows and flowers and things excited me on the inside. I went to Target, bought this hat flower free, and created my own version of an over the top hat to wear.  Well, I walk in thinking I had the coolest hat ever and boy was I WRONG!  Not about having the coolest hat but the fact that not one other person in the house had a hat on, NOT ONE!!!  Ah well, what are you going to do?  I still felt fabulous and hey maybe I will even wear it again this Sunday which is really hat day in celebration of Mother's Day.

Jewels...

I love all the bold statement jewels that Lulu Frost creates.  Her collaboration with the fashion machine that is J Crew broadened her audience and has truly made me a fan.  While perusing her site today I saw this stack of bracelets that is giving me LIFE!!!  I love the wooden one at the base of this stack its perfectly wonderful.
