This past weekend was perfect. I hung out outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather, but the fruits somehow didn't make it into the mix. :) I did some shopping, a bit at the regular mall and a little thrifting. I haven't had the best of luck lately with the thrift store shopping but fell upon a gem of a skirt yesterday. It's the perfect vintage piece, except for the missing closure on the side, which apparently is "part of the styling" at least that's what the store clerk told me. I loved it so much I bought it missing zipper and all. I will have to take a visit to my local Joanne's to figure something out. Anyway I wanted to share my find with you. Isn't it so cute? I can't wait to outfit this and share with you all. Happy Monday!
I love finding gems while thrifting! Lol, the missing closure is part of the style?! Gorgeous color!

Oh so adorable! Your local dry cleaner can fix/replace the zipper. Shouldn't be more than $10 at most. How is the missing closure the styling I wonder though? Can't wait to see how you wear it!

@ Vivian and Pamela.... I KNOW right...she told me that's how shirts were made back then....there are only 2 hook and eyes at the top that are supposed to hide the hole in the side...but its a no go...as soon as I move you can see whatever undergarments I have on....I will try the dry cleaner thing, or maybe just good old mom. :)
