Behold...

BHDLN.... while I was in Houston I had the chance to visit the first and only BHLDN, the everything for your wedding counter part of Anthropologie.  I simply went to get a glance at what Anthro thinks a bride would want and the look of the store combined with the product mix is exactly what I thought it would be.  The store was an open airy concept that consisted of 4 main rooms. The first with jewelry and brides maid dresses, the other with wedding paraphernalia (invites etc), the second to last room is filled with shoes and bridal accessories, and the last room at the back was all the beautiful wedding dresses.  If you are an Anthro girl at heart this is the place for you.

The Boyfriend Blazer....

It seems like its been forever since I did an outfit post.  Let me tell you, its definitely been a challenge trying to take pictures of my daily outfits since I get home when its dark.  I tried taking some photos inside and it seems that I have a lot to learn about taking pictures indoors.  This was the only one that came out decent enough to post.  Enough about that, I'm not sure if you remember this blazer that I blogged about here.  Well,  I finally purchased it!  I must say that it is a little challenging to outfit, but I love it anyway.  I just have to remember to keep it slim on the bottom since the jacket it so oversized.

What I Love About Your Look.....

Hi everyone!  I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving holiday, I ate way too much but it was so great to see family and friends.  Did you all get any great deals today?  I went to Anthro and spent way too much but you have to buy it when its such a great deal right?  What I love about today's look are these great bright green pants and oh so cute polka dot sweater!  Enjoy the rest of the weekend, see ya next week!

Giving Thanks....

Off Again...

Love High...Buy Low

I can't believe how long its been since I posted a good old addition of love high, buy low.  As soon as I saw these shoes on Lindsey I knew they were the perfect version of those Louboutins we were seeing everywhere this past summer.  Why pay $1000, for the Louboutins when you can get this pair from Steve Madden for a fraction of the price.  YAY!

I love the idea of a tuxedo jacket for women.  I have wanted one for awhile but haven't found the perfect one just yet.  I really like this one!

Dress my Nest: The New Jewelry Hangers....

I have been so busy the past couple of weekends painting my house.  The only rooms left to paint are the 2 bathrooms and the guest room.  My bed that I blogged about here, which seems like a lifetime ago will be ready very soon and I have been trying to pull everything together in my master bedroom.  As I mentioned before I wanted my room to be white and navy with little touches of hot pink to make it more feminine.  I found these great rabbit hooks in hot pink and thought they would be a fun addition to hang jewelry on.  Maybe I can incorporate them in a frame like I mentioned here, but I haven't decided yet.

Take A Good Look.....

At these shoes because unfortunately this is the first and last time you see them.  I have been looking a new pair of flats since the only pair that I own is brown.  I saw these babies, tried them on to make sure it was a good fit, the price was right, so I bought them.  I snapped these right before I was off to work.  Well, let me tell you about halfway into the day my feet hurt so bad that I could barely walk.  While I LOVE these shoes, I couldn't justify keeping an uncomfortable pair of flats, it really does seem like an oxymoron, right?  Has this ever happened to any of you, aren't flat shoes supposed to be comfortable?

What I Love About Your Look.....

I have actually been following this lovely lady for several months now.  She's got great style!  What I love about this particular look are those cute shorts, the beautiful lace detail on the back of the blouse, and that great turquoise ring.  I hope you all had a great week and enjoy an even better weekend!

My Entrance to the 21st Century....

I posted this great D.I.Y several weeks ago and mentioned that I didn't have a iPhone to use it on.  Well....the tides have turned and Siri was introduced and now I like so many other Americans own one.  YAY!  I am so excited to finally have a cool phone that can do cool things.  My current phone is good for texting, calling, and on a good day I can send and receive a picture or two.  Quick post today I am off to look for phone cases, I have had my eye on this one.  :)

Transitional Find.....

I recently picked up this dress from Anthro, I had been eyeing it for awhile and the price was right so I took a chance.  Turns out its the perfect transitional dress from Summer to Fall.  I absolutely love the full bottom of this dress, and when I don't wear it to work I would loose the tank I put under it to hide the girls.  I have already decided that the next time I wear this I will put a top on to give the appearance that it's a skirt.
