A Little Winter White.......

I love how unique and fun this vest is.  This was another Nordstrom Rack find that I picked up several weeks ago and am now just getting the chance to wear.  Although it was quite cold outside this morning, I didn't really like the way it looked with long sleeves so I wore short sleeves with it instead.  Anything in the name of fashion right? Topped off with my wooden bracelet and flare jeans and I was out the door.  Happy Hump Day everyone!

I Don't Know Your Name, But You Sure Said Hello.....

I saw these booties at Nordstrom Rack this past weekend and LOVED them.  They are reminiscent of the Derek Lam wedges that I loved last season and missed out on.  They are by a brand called Messeca, that I have never heard of but I tried them on to do a quick comfort check and now they have been added to the collection.  I have definitely been on a shoe kick.  Have you bought any great shoes lately?

My Visit to the DMA....

This past weekend I finally got the chance to go see the Jean Paul Gaultier exhibit at the DMA.  I have heard so much about it and I knew that February would be here before I knew it and the my chance to see it would be gone.  I wasn't allowed to take pictures while in the exhibit but let me tell you it was worth every penny of that $20 they charged to get in.  The weather was just brisk enough that I was finally able to wear this rust stole I picked up from H&M a few weeks ago.  Yay!

Dress My Nest: Wall Hangings

I haven't updated you all on the progress of decorating my house so I thought I would show you a great item I found via the Glitter Guide instagram.  A few weeks ago I feel in love with the paper mache animal wall hangings that were in the West Elm catalog.  There was something about the quirkiness of them that I loved and knew they would add an element of surprise to my living room.  I thought these were exactly what I had been looking for, but this past weekend I found the last image and feel head over heels in love!  Those gold horns made this deer head beyond amazing.  So now I have my eyes set on something else.  I can't wait to order this and hang it in my living room.

New Year, New Hair.....

At least for this past weekend.  It was quite brisk out, but I didn't want to wear a coat so I opted for layers instead.  I love this chunky sweater vest and the burnt rust color went perfectly with my green pants and dark denim jacket.  I hope you all had fun ringing in the New Year.
