Fringe...

When I saw this sweater what immediately caught my eye was the fringe at the hem.  It is just the right amount of a hippie vibe to be trendy but not so much so that it didn't fit right in with the rest of my wardrobe.  There was a white option as well but I decided that this khaki version was a bit more versatile and could be worn into Fall.  I opted for dark shorts and my favorite wedges, which didn't prove to the the best shoe choice for walking around the streets of Tokyo.

Style Tip:  Found a piece that you love but doesn't necessarily fit into the box that is your style?  Well whoever said your style had to fit in a box?  The great thing about fashion is that you can try anything and make any piece your own.  For example, this sweater can be worn by an absolute hipster as well as a more clean cut gal such as myself.  So, don't always get so caught up in your "typical look"  if it looks great on and makes you feel good go for it and put your own unique twist on it.
