I had a some free time today and thought that it was a great day for a new post.  As I am typing this I realize just how much I miss updating my blog.  *tear*  For those of you that actively follow me on Instagram you know that I love a lippie.  Which is ironic because most days I don't wear lipstick but I do love to add a bright pop of color to my outfit by way of a fabulous lippie.  About a year ago I purchased the below color that I absolutely love.  Its called Como by the brand Stila and its the perfect mix of purple with a hint of pink.  It will be just what your fall palette has been missing.  Are you asking yourself why is she posting this today of all days?  Welllllll, they are on SALE SALE SALE at Ulta and who doesn't love a good sale?  I am not sure when the sale ends but don't delay, there are several colors and the color really does last all day.  New week, let's go!

My Obsession With Denim Jackets...

Happy October Everyone!!!!  Boy does time fly.  I can't believe that we are only a week away from Halloween 2016, where does the time go?  As I was going through my email today, and the tons and tons of email blast that I get a day I happened upon an email from The Gap.  I know that many of you have probably all but abandoned the Gap brands but they are still some of my go to stores when I need cute casual pieces.  Especially a new denim jacket!  So when I saw this very cute denim jacket with these super fun start patches,  I had to share it with you.  Some of you have a very small window to buy and wear it since it will be quite cold where you are but it will be perfect for layering over your favorite zip fleece to keep it in the rotation a little bit longer into the season.  Enjoy!!

Its been FOREVER since I did a love high buy low post and I can't wait to share what I found for you all. Unless you have all been living under a rock I am sure you have all heard of the famed Self Portrait brand that sprung to popularity in the past year. I remember seeing them on the Asos home page about a year ago now and really really wanted one but with a price tag of over 400 bucks a pop it just wasn't in the cards or my budget. *Insert crying face here* There have been quite a few inspired by dresses that I have seen but when I saw this one from H&M today I just had to share it with you all. Marigold....

Hey everyone!!!  Its been a whole minute since I posted on my blog but you know how it is when life starts happening and time slips away from you.  I am not sure if you all follow me on Instagram but I definitely update that on a more regular basis and would love for you to stop by.  My name is the same as my blog, Blankwhiteframes. :)  For those of you that follow me on the gram I am sure that you have noticed my love affair with this marigold color.  There is something about this bold yellow color that I can't get enough of this summer.  I found this dress a couple weeks ago at one of my favorite stores, Antho, and outfitted with this pair of simple brown sandals made for the perfect Sunday look.  I have missed you all so much.  New week, Let's Go!

Lemons...

I have always been one of those shoppers that doesn't limit myself to a hand full of stores because in my experience you never know when you are going to find an unexpectedly cute piece that you can't live without.  I wondered into New York and Company the other day and found this fantastic dress that immediately reminded me of the Dolce and Gabbana Summer 16 collection.  The fun lemon print in combination with this fit and flare styling I just couldn't pass up.  Oh, AND it had pockets too!! This dress is perfectly feminine and I couldn't be any happier with this purchase.  So go out this weekend, go into a store that you don't typically shop in, and make an experience that my typically be a lemon in your mind into a tall glass of Lemonade.  I hope you all had a great week and have an even better weekend!

For a Rainy Day....

Pink and Burgundy, Which Just Happens To Be My Jam.....

For several months now I have been "shopping my closet" in an effort to give some old pieces new life and overall expand my outfit choices.  I have had all these pieces for awhile, some longer than others, but have never worn them all together.  This is a simple look that any of you can recreate, especially since burgundy is EVERYWHERE this Fall/Winter.  I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving.  New week, lets go!

I love the new look at Banana Republic.  Marissa Webb brought a fresh look and style to a store that I had all but abandoned.  I love the idea of wearing a dress since its a complete outfit with just one article.  Its the perfect lazy piece that can have so many looks with just the change of accessories.  This print ruffle high/low dress is no exception to that rule.  I had been eyeing it for awhile so when it went on sale I quick snatched it up.  I wanted to show how versatile this dress can be by wearing one casual look with sneaks and a denim jacket the other simply with my favorite Rag and Bone booties.  Happy Hump Day!!!!

Wedding Wear....

This past weekend one of my good friends married the love of her life.  It was beautiful, magical, and full of love.  In the past couple of years I have become one of those people that buys fancy dresses without an occasion to wear them to.  I am somewhat of a fancy dress collector, each dress waiting for that special occasion to make its debut.  Well, this dress is one of those that has been hanging in my closet for several months waiting for the perfect occasion.  This was the weekend.  Meet Stacy, she made me feel absolutely glamorous and despite her being the longest dress EVER I loved taking her for a spin.  Its a new week everyone lets go!

What to wear, What to wear....

Next month I will be attending the Bella Kinks DFW Natural Hair Expo.  The weekend is jam packed full of great learning opportunities, new products to purchase and try, and the chance to meet other naturals just like you.  The weekend kicks off on Friday with the Black Excellence Dinner, which is the hottest ticket in town,  since it is now SOLD OUT!!  If you happen to be one of the lucky people that was able to snag a ticket you may be wondering what to wear, right?  Well lucky for you the attire is black and I have found a couple of options to share that would look great for this event.
