Pink and Burgundy, Which Just Happens To Be My Jam.....

For several months now I have been "shopping my closet" in an effort to give some old pieces new life and overall expand my outfit choices.  I have had all these pieces for awhile, some longer than others, but have never worn them all together.  This is a simple look that any of you can recreate, especially since burgundy is EVERYWHERE this Fall/Winter.  I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving.  New week, lets go!

Simple in Stripes...

Hi EVERYONE!!! Long time no see.  I have been a bad bad blogger.  I picked up a 2nd job styling and it has completely monopolized my time.  But I managed to get some pictures in this new, super casual, super comfy dress.  If you follow me on Instagram you will see that as of late I have had a small obsession with temporary tattoos.  I know that the summer is coming to a close in most places but in Texas the heat is on.  Not only can this dress be worn for these last few weeks of warm weather but you can throw on a denim jacket and booties and carry it into fall too.  I have missed you all so much but please follow me on Instagram, BLANKWHITEFRAMES, I update quite often there.

Pineapple....

I have been slightly obsessed with pineapples.  Thankfully its been the calorie free kind of pineapple. Pineapples on dresses, gold guilded pineapples, even oversized pineapples on shirts like the one I have on in today's outfit post.  This simple outfit is one that any of you can recreate.  My weekend was spent out enjoying family and the heat that is summer in Texas.  Its Monday everyone new week let's go!

Eyelet....

HIIIII everyone, I am back with a new post.  So I found this great eyelet dress at Banana Republic several weeks ago.  Eyelet makes me think of being a little girl and next to lace is one of the most super feminine materials around.  Its usually in white or some light pastel color so when I saw this dress in black eyelet I loved the idea of the juxtaposition of the color and material and snatched it up to add to my wardrobe.  I hope everything is going well with you all.  Tomorrow starts the beginning of a new work week.  Let's go!

Stripes....

The calendar officially says that its Spring, however in some places across the US the weather doesn't quite match what the calendar is telling us.  Lucky for me I live in Dallas where there are only 2 seasons hot and sometimes cold.  It warmed up quite a bit and I was excited to wear this faux wrap skirt that I recently ordered from Piperlime.  Black and white stripes can be worn quite a few different ways so I'm certain that you will see this skirt again mixed with something else for a completely different look.  Summer is well on its way, and I can't wait for outdoor festivals, making my way to the pool, and spending time with family.  What are you looking forward to for the upcoming summer months?

I don't wear flats very often but when I do I have been into really cool sneaks as of late.  These Nikes were a Christmas present that I love!  They are so comfortable and the color and finish are what absolutely make this shoe.  J Crew for the win again!

Pom Poms.....

I had my eye on this Phillip Lim sweater for quite sometime but with a price tag of $500 on SALE its not in my budget.  When I spotted this version at J. Crew AND with an additional 40% off I quickly scooped it up.  I love this sweater, its warm, over sized, and it has my very favorite sweater detail those cute little pom poms.  Paired with all black this was the perfect weekend outfit to run errands.
