An X mas Bauble....

Its Christmas Eve and I hope that you all are enjoying time with close friends and family.  I have finally finished all my shopping for the big day tomorrow and I look forward to doing what I do best on Christmas, NOTHING!  Just kidding, I will be unwrapping gifts with my mom and dad, helping to cook for the family Christmas dinner, and maybe squeezing in a little relaxing. :)  I leave you with this X mas bauble, I found it today while roaming the net.  Its inspired by a necklace that I got from J Crew a few months ago but for a fraction of the price.  My gift to you!  MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone.

Acneish......

I recently saw these shoes online and loved the idea of them.  They remind me of a pair of Acne shoes that I was stalking for a bit last holiday and then decided against because yet again they weren't in my budget.  That awesome chunky heel adds just the right amount of a modern touch and with a price tag of only, $32.80, and two color options these shoes too great of a deal to pass up.  Happy Monday!!!

Love High, Buy Low.....

As we come closer to the holidays, I am sure like many of you, I have been doing quite a bit more shopping that normal this time mostly for other people instead of myself.  While out shopping yesterday I fell into The Gap and found a dead ringer for the Current/Elliott camo Letterman pullover.  I had been eyeing this top for awhile but with a price tag of over $100, I just couldn't bring myself to do it.  Well The Gap took care of it for me AND saved me a couple coins.  I do love the high but this time opted for the look alike from The Gap.  Happy Shopping Everyone!!!

CURRENT/ELLIOTT LETTERMAN $128

GAP'S PRINTED SWEATSHIRT $39.95

Love High....Buy Low....

I have been eyeing these Ann Demeulemeester lace up boots for a couple seasons now, but with a price of over $1000.00 I can't justify buying them.  Well with all great high end styles, wait a couple months and there is bound to be an equally cool pair that is inspired by the original high end version at a fraction of the price. While recently browsing the net I came across this very similar pair of Jeffery Campbell lace front boots for a mere $174.00.  These have most certainly been added to my pre fall shopping list.

Mila, You Remind Me Alot of Chanel....

While on a quick stop into J Crew the other day I saw the cutest leather ballet flats that reminded me of the very cute and very expensive Chanel flat.  I don't wear flats too often but for those of you that do these shoes are a great alternative for the Chanel ones and are just a quarter of the price and dare I say cuter?  They also offer a great assortment of colors to choose from.  I hope you all had a great week and have an even better weekend.

Love High...Buy Low

I can't believe how long its been since I posted a good old addition of love high, buy low.  As soon as I saw these shoes on Lindsey I knew they were the perfect version of those Louboutins we were seeing everywhere this past summer.  Why pay $1000, for the Louboutins when you can get this pair from Steve Madden for a fraction of the price.  YAY!

Love High....But Buy Low

So I know that we have all been drooling over the new collection of Proenza Schouler bags.  These bags are one of the chicest messenger styles that I have seen which I blogged about here.  However at a retail of $1500+ not many of us can afford it.  Well lucky for you I saw the below bags last time I was in Target for a very moderate $34.99, and will give you the same look at the Proenza bag.  We all love the high but its great to have a buy low option.

Love High But Buy Low....

I know you have been missing a good love high but buy low post.  So I decided that I would post a new one for you.   Today, while browsing the net, I saw these booties from Burberry.  I love how ruggedly cute they are, but with a price tag of $1,095 I am pretty sure I will not own them anytime soon.  Since I love the look of these boots I was able to find this more affordable option from Anarchy Street, less than a quarter of the price of the Burberry pair.  Yes, we all love high, but this is a great buy low option.

Love High...But Buy Low

Do you remember the shoes that I posted here?  Well I found a very similar pair today care of Steve Madden.  I love everything about them and they look just like the Louboutin version without the red sole and the price tag of course.  I am seriously thinking about getting them.  Do any of you own Steve Madden shoes?  How comfortable are they?

Love High...Buy Even Lower

We all LOVEEE a good deal right?  Do you remember my post last week here, about the faux fur leopard print coats?  Well, if you don't I thought that I found a steal of a deal at asos.com for this coat style, but after looking on the Forever 21 website today I was wrong.  The below jacket is a mere $39.80!!  I know less than 40 bucks!  I can't even believe it.  I will wait until it arrives at my local store to check it out but if you want it now its still available in all sizes, but we all know how quickly things sell out there.

Love High...But Buy Low

I know the warm weather is quickly coming to a close, but I wouldn't resist today's love high, but buy low feature.  This strappy heel is another great transition shoe from Summer to Fall.  They can be worn with tights as the temperature starts to drop.  The Michael Kors version, which does have a few more bells and whistles, retails for $1295.00.  I found a very similar version at Zara for a mere $49.99, there is also a black option which I like a little more.  The only drawback is that you can't shop the Zara site, so you have to have a store in your town if you want to own these beauties.

Love High...But Buy Low

As I browse all the trend reports I am loving the leopard print faux fur coat.  I actually don't think that I own even one animal printed item, crazy right?  As vintage looks become more and more mainstream there are a few more options available for this trend.  I love that it instantly brings a wow factor to a plain jeans and tee look.  I have seen the below coat from Rebecca Taylor which retails for $995, so out of the budget, and was able to find another version just like it from Asos for just $160.  I love a good deal!  I hope you all had a great week and an even better weekend!

Love High..but Buy Low

So most of you loved the picture that I posted on Friday, and even more of you loved the wedges that were pictured.  Well I liked them a lot too, and while at the mall over the weekend to my surprise I found a pair that were the exact same style as the ones in the photo.  The ones in the pic from Friday appear to be the Jeffrey Campbell Tick Wedge which retails for about $200, the more affordable option that I found was a mere $30 from Forever 21.  I checked online and unfortunately they were not available there, so you will have to go to your nearest store to see if they have a pair.  I am so excited that I found these and can't wait to wear them.

Love High...but Buy Low

It seems that the drawstring bucket bag is making a come back.  I remember being in middle school and everyone coveted the Dooney and Burke version of this bag.  This style has been out of the fashion fore front for awhile replaced by the over-sized shoulder bags and more boxy messenger bag styles.  I am a little obsessed with Marc Jacobs handbags and found this cute drawstring bucket bag for $378.00 but while browsing at Forever 21 they had this more affordable version for $29.80.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend everyone!

P.S.- To all my loyal followers.  Sorry this is a day late, technology was not on my side last night.

Love High...but Buy Low: Ann Demeulemeester

So, my love high but buy low post was quite popular! With that said I have another quick one for ya! I have seen a couple versions of the open toe buckle wedge boot one by Ann Demeulemeester, which I have seen a few times on Jane from Sea of shoes, and the other from Opening Ceremony. The Ann D shoes, are a whopping $1225.00 and the Opening Ceremony version, is $785.00. I know, it should be illegal to pay that much for shoes! I was browsing on shopstyle when I found the perfect version that we can all afford available here from Dollhouse. I love these shoes, however there is a pair of boots I am eyeing at the Anniversary Sale. Happy Wednesday everyone, we are halfway there!
