BOLD...

This dress was one of those random finds on SUPER sale at one of the many Macy's Red Apple Sale weekends.  I, like many of you don't often find too much when I visit a department store but the bold color combo on the skirt of this dress was so eye catching I couldn't leave without it.  Happy Hump Day!!!

Making It Work...

HIIIIIII, everyone!!!  I have missed you all so much.  I know you are probably wondering where I have been and for those of you that follow me on instagram you already know but if not I was in Hong Kong and China for 2 weeks working.  It was one of the best experiences that I have had to date and if any of you ever have the chance to visit Hong Kong you should go. Its such a wonderful and special place.  I have an outfit for you all.....YAY!!  I found what was supposed to be a tunic at Anthro a few weeks ago.   I loved the print and when I grabbed it off the rack I realized it was a size large.  I decided to try it on anyway knowing that it would be too big but it ended up working as a dress instead.  I wore it with heels this time but it can easily be dressed down even more with a pair of sandals and denim jacket in the early Fall.  I hope you all had a great week and enjoy an even better weekend!!

Style Tip:  Find something that you love but its not your size.  Try it anyway, it could work as a dress like I did below or as a "boyfriend" style.  Just use your imagination and make it work.

A Little Leather....

Hi EVERYONE!!!!  I feel like its been forever since I last added a new post.  My work life has been super busy but I am doing what I love so its all worth it, however blogging has taken a back seat and I hope to return to a more consistent posting schedule very soon.  I wore this outfit on my birthday, it was just dressy enough for me to celebrate.  This shirt is a new summer sale purchase and I picked it up because like many of the things I buy it had a cute unique detail that made it different.  For this particular style is was the leather like sleeves.   I hope you are all having a great week so far.

When Sale Goes on Sale....

Life has been so crazy these past couple of weeks.  I have had outfit pictures held hostage on my camera and I promise that I will post them soon.  I got a new position at work which has required a lot more of my time than my previous position, so while I am excited to be doing something brand new I have not had time to update my blog as much as I would like too.  With that said, you all know that one of my favorite stores is Anthropologie. So when I got an email this morning that all the sale went on sale, everything is an additional 20% off, I was so excited.  I found a couple of necklaces that were on sale from another one of my favorites Pam Hiran, who is the same designer as the necklace that I wore in this post.  There is tons of great stuff, so shop early ladies.

Sunflowers....

I wore this dress for Father's Day.  Even though I wasn't able to spend the day with my dad it turned out to be quite fun although I could have done without the heat.  Boy is it going to be a long summer.  I found this dress on a recent trip to Macy's, and it was a steal of a deal.  Its part of the Rachel Roy for Macy's collection and I love the twist on the snake print.  I drive by this field of sunflowers every morning and it couldn't be a more perfect backdrop for this dress.

All Juicy......

I have always been a fan of the cutesy items that Juicy Couture designs.  I am sure you all remember when those velour sweat suits were all the rage and have since completely fallen off the fashion map.
