Casual Sundays.....

I don't wear flats, I wear sneakers even less aside from my trips to the gym, so when I found these Adidas at Urban Outfitters AND at a price that wouldn't allow me to leave them on the shelf I was super stoked.  We had some pretty awesome Spring weather this past weekend so this simple knit black skirt, white tee, and quilt detailed jacket were the perfect compliments to these shoes.

Black and White.....

Black and white is such a classic color combo.  So even though I could have worn this dress with a lot of more colorful options I opted for this great tweed boyfriend blazer that I picked up from H&M.  It turned out to be a great outfit for the slightly cool weather we had this weekend.

House Account that is.  I was recently introduced to this great app that is basically like of having all of your favorite local boutiques showcasing snap shots of their available inventory right at your fingers tips.  The app began as a way for boutiques in cities across the country to reach customers that would normally never walk through the doors of their stores, so this app eliminates the distance between the shops that their new and returning customers.  After browsing the app I found some of my new favorite local shops, Tootsies and Elements, as well as some of my old favorites, By George in Austin, TX where I went to college.  Next time you are on your smart phone which if any of your are like me its basically every moment of the day except for when I am sleeping, download the app and check it out.

Full Banded Pleats......

Life has been so busy these past couple weeks but I am back and with a new outfit post.  I have wanted one of those very cute full banded skirts after passing up the cutest version from Pleasure Doing Business at Neimans about a year ago now.  So when I saw a version of this style on a recent visit to Francesca's I jumped for joy.  They had quite a few color options but I opted for the navy and before I walked out the door I was already planning outfits for this newest addition to my closet.

Lynx.....

I don't own a ton of things with prints on them.  There is no particular reason for this other than, when I shop I always seem to gravitate towards solids, stripes, or plaids which is hardly a fun wardrobe in the making.  I have been shopping the final end of season sales for the past few weeks and I find myself drawn to this dress again and again from multiple online retailers.  Its perfectly loose with a great pleated detail at the back neck.  The color and style can not only be worn with a great over coat and black tights during these cold months but it will transition perfectly into the warmer months that for some of you can't come soon enough.  It hasn't quite made it into a shopping cart yet but it keeps calling my name.

Light As A Feather.....

Like many of you I do my fair share of online shopping.  This mild obsession unfortunately comes with a ton email blasts.  Those darn blasts, a blessing and a curse all at mixed into one little email.  As I was going through deleting my blasts for the day one from Z Gallerie opened and this beauty appeared.  Its perfectly lovely and delicate and if I had a spot in my home for it, it would be mine.  

Texture.....

I love wearing sweatshirts in the winter.  J Crew has been my sweatshirt destination of choice for the past several seasons, embellished, plain, and textured fabrics are all part of my growing collection.  I recently picked up this great raglan number with a cable textured front that I absolutely love.  I winterized one of my favorite dresses by layering it on top and finished it all off with my oldie but goodie boots.
