Not Your Regular Mechanic
I saw this jumpsuit at Madewell and it totally reminded me of a mechanic's uniform, but cuter. It was one of those items that I got on sale and for some reason got pushed to the back of my closet and forgotten about. I came across it this past weekend as I was diligently looking for something else and was excited to finally wear it. I shopped my closet for the perfect accessories and this is what I came up with. Not only is it the perfect transition piece from Summer to Fall, I was also able to try the belt twist with it too.

Bows and Smiles
There is something about seeing a bow that makes me smile. I don't know if its the fact that it instantly reminds me of being a little girl but the idea of a bow is so feminine and girly. When I saw these cute bags from Chloe not only did they all have bows *smile* but they are also some of the cutest clutches I have seen in awhile.

The Twisted Belt...
I don't know if this is technically a trend or just a new twist on an classic staple, but I'm seeing it all over. The belt has gone from extra wide, back down to medium, and skinny but with a twist. This look has popped up in all avenues from the print adds of J Crew to the outfits that all the fashionistas wear daily. I tried the twist here, and loved it! I will definitely be trying to incorporate this look more for the Fall. Guess that means I need a few more belts, and a little inspiration. :)

Black and White...
It was date night last Friday and the boif wanted to take me to try a new restaurant. I jumped at the chance to wear one of my favorite skirts! I love any reason to get dressed up and go out on the town. I ended up ordering short ribs which didn't quite go with the outfit but all in all it was a great night. What did you do this weekend?

Love High...But Buy Low
As I browse all the trend reports I am loving the leopard print faux fur coat. I actually don't think that I own even one animal printed item, crazy right? As vintage looks become more and more mainstream there are a few more options available for this trend. I love that it instantly brings a wow factor to a plain jeans and tee look. I have seen the below coat from Rebecca Taylor which retails for $995, so out of the budget, and was able to find another version just like it from Asos for just $160. I love a good deal! I hope you all had a great week and an even better weekend!

Ultra Feminine....
I love all things that make me feel girly and feminine, so when I saw this blouse on Net-A-Porter I just knew that I wanted to share my find. It's so simple and understated yet so ultra feminine at the same time. I just love the soft color combo and that you can dress it up for work, or pair it with your favorite skinny jeans and wear it out on the weekend. What do you think?

Flirty Florals
I love the bright floral trend. So when I blogged about the below top here, I thought about getting it but the price didn't fit with my budget. The thought of actually owning it became a distant memory until one day several weeks ago now, I found it on a clearance rack, it was the very last one, and in my size. That NEVER happens, so I knew that it was meant to be. I love the all the cute details, the bright pink stitching, the cute pockets, and the shirt tail hem all combine to make this the perfect flirty floral top.
