Jason You can Wu me Anytime........

With Fashion Week in full swing how could I not post some of the beautiful garments that are coming down the runway for fall?  As I was browsing through the shows of the week, Jason Wu's collection stuck out in my mind.  Amongst other things the color black, lace details, and ribbons disguised as bows tied around the neck seemed to be the theme across his line.  I would love to wear any of these great pieces.  I hope you all had a great week and have an even better weekend!

Oh Wellie.......

Do you remember when I went home to Houston here, and all it did was rain all weekend?  Well that weekend I decided that I would have to put a pair of wellies on the short list of items to buy.  Since I have always wanted a pair of Jimmy Choos and can't afford them at the moment, I decided on the best of both worlds, the Hunter by Jimmy Choo wellies.   I don't know how I haven't owned a pair for this long, but let me tell you these things are GREAT!  They are durable, comfortable, and best of all I don't get that annoying wet pant thing that happens when it rains.

The Result of My Self Diagnosed Therapy.....

Remember last Friday when I was stuck inside of the house for days, and decided that I needed some retail therapy?   Well boy did I get some!  As the rest of the city and myself were stuck inside of our homes the retail world keeping moving and mark downs commenced.  I arrived at the mall bright and early and after leaving each one of my go to stores empty handed I decided to take a stroll into Dillards.  I know, I know, I may be one of the only 20 somethings that goes into department stores but you really never know what you are going to find.  And boy did I find some great pieces at some even better prices.  After leaving Dillards I ended my therapy with a quick trip into the recently opened Urban Outfitters location.  Here they are the newest additions to my wardrobe:

Now This Says I Love You.....

With Valentine's Day quickly approaching, I couldn't help but post some fun gift ideas.  I would be fine just staying home and having a candle lit dinner.  However, if I absolutely have to pick something that I want, twist my arm :), any one of these would definitely say I Love You.....

An Anniversary and a Giveaway!

This weekend was wonderful.  I feel much better now that I got my retail therapy. Snowed In....

Hi everyone.  Boy has it been a week here in Dallas!  It all started on Tuesday for what I thought was going to be a bit of bad weather, well Tuesday turned to Friday and I only left my house once on Wednesday to brave the icy roads for work.  I don't know how you northerners do it, but I've had a minor case of cabin fever this week.  Tomorrow its supposed to warm up and I am going to the closest mall for a bit of retail therapy.  I hope you all had a great week and have an even better weekend!

Add This to the List.....

Ok, so today I saw the bed of my DREAMS!!!  I have blogged about the kind of headboard that I want here and the color scheme that I am going for here.  So when I saw this bed on a fellow bloggers site, I couldn't resist first saving it to my inspiration file, and second sharing it with you.  I don't know where to find it and if any of you have seen this or a version of it please let me know stat.  This one seems like a budget out the window kinda purchase.
