Sponge Print....

Just in case you don't already know, I am one of those girls that just LOVES a sale.  I can't always afford to buy the things at regular price so I have no issue with waiting for something to get marked down.  This skirt was one of those items.  There is something about the sponge like effect of the squares that I just love!  It is definitely one of my top summer sale purchases thus far.  I wasn't sure what to pair with it,  and since I didn't want to be to matchy, this is what I came up with.

Test Run....

I decided to take my new shoes out for a test run today.  I would have worn them sooner but I sprained my ankle when I was out of town so I haven't worn heels for over a week and I was starting to go through withdrawals.  I wanted to ease back into wearing heels so I thought that my new shoes were a good choice.  Happy Monday Everyone!

As a Sale Closes Fall Begins....

I am out of town yet again, this time in Houston visiting family and my beautiful niece who I featured here.  The big sale at Net a Porter is now over and the new Fall goods are rolling in.  Its so hard to think about long sleeves and coats when it is so hot outside.  There are some great pieces from Missoni and while I wait for the Target line to debut I guess I will just have to dream about owning one of these great pieces from their high end line.

I finally picked a paint color for all the main open areas in my house.  Now I just need to take a few before pictures and recruit some help from the family for a painting party.  While I get that organized here is a little inspiration that I love.

Gold Nugget....

For those of you that have followed me for sometime now you know that I have blogged about wanting to expand my real jewelry collection.  The goal is to invest in some great timeless pieces that I can wear for quite sometime, however while I am still trying to fit that into my budget I can't help but to purchase some great mid priced costume options.  Don't get me wrong I love a good $3 pair of earrings from Forever but once in awhile I would like to own something that didn't change color after a couple wears.  While in Anthro over the weekend I spotted this nugget of a bracelet and it was on SALE.  I love how unique it is and the cool mixture of materials.  And to me its perfectly unique.  Happy Tuesday!  Did you all have a good holiday?

Glamorous....

I decided against posting something in the traditional red, white, and blue in lieu of the holiday on Monday and opted for something glamorous instead.  So I hope you all have a glamorous long weekend with friends and family.
