A Royal Moment....
Like many of you I have been overwhelmed by the hoopla that surrounded the wedding of William and Katherine. I wasn't intrigued enough to get up at 3 in the morning to watch the wedding, and was mostly just concerned about what she was going to wear on the big day. I found this image today that catches the bride in a perfect moment. She looks so calm and beautiful, don't you think? I hope you are all having a great weekend.

I'm Backkkkkkkk....
Hey everyone, I'm back from my vacation in Toronto. It was so much fun, mostly a family visit so I must admit the picture taking was lacking as it wasn't quite as glamorous as my LA trip. As was predicted, it was mildly sunny sat and sun and rained the rest of the time. Other than that I had a nice relaxing time. So onto today's post. Like many of you, I just can't get enough of The Coveteur. The most recent images are of Liz Cabral's "avant chic" style. Who is Ms. Cabral you ask? She just happens to be the Fashion Director at Flare magazine which I make a point to purchase every time I am in Toronto. I don't think I will ever get bored of the clever way these fashionista's wardrobes are interpreted.

I'm Leavin On Another Jet Plane....
I'm off again. This time to Toronto for an extended Easter vacation. Again, I hope to post updates while I am away but since I am not sure how much access I will have to a computer I don't know how much I can post. I will take as many pics as I can to share this fantastic city with you. I looked up the weather and its supposed to be cold and rainy the whole time I'm there, ick. I hope you all had a great week and have an even better long weekend, for those of you that have one. See you soon!

We Were Made for Each Other, But We're Better Apart......
I love the idea of wearing suits as separates. While at the thrift store the other day I bought this very pretty white skirt and top that was sold as as set but immediately knew the potential that the pieces would have if worn as separates. This Tory Burch suit is the same. I love the combo of the crimson with midnight stripes but worn together I think would be a little bit of over kill. I can totally image the two outfits. The jacket with ripped jeans and a cute white tee. The pants with a cute fitted top, probably in black with loads of chunky jewelry and your fav clutch. Even though outfits sold as sets are so out, just think of what each piece would look like worn with something other than what its being sold with. The possibilities are endless.

More Fun From the Collection....
The newest collection from J Crew doesn't disappoint, but I guess with Jenna in charge no wrong can be done right? Well maybe except for painting her young son's finger nails bright pink in the latest catalog, but I love her anyway. As I was browsing through I noticed that they opted to keep the color palette a little more muted amongst a sea of summer brights from most other retailers. My favorite look has definitely got to be the trench with the cute pink shorts. Happy Wednesday everyone!

Dress My Nest: I Think I May Have Found The One....
So most of you know that I have been in the process of decorating my house. I have been simultaneously decorating all the rooms, but more recently have been focusing on my bedroom. The furniture in my bedroom to be more specific. I found this image here, that has been the main color inspiration and have even drawn a very amateur sketch of how I want my room to look once complete. I have been on the hunt for new dressers since the ones that I got from Ikea for college, which have now moved about 5 times in 2 states, are slowly falling apart. Well I decided to take a chance at Crate and Barrel this weekend and I think I may have found the one. I think this will go perfect with the mirrored end tables and tufted headboard that I am still searching for. What do you think? Cute right?

2 Thumbs Up For Jessica!
I snapped a few pics of my outfit while out and about this weekend. The weather was perfect again and there was just enough of a chill to wear my denim blazer. These harem pants are the most comfortable bottoms ever! I also broke out the heels that I bought here, and Jessica Simpson gets 2 thumbs up for comfort. I wore these shoes all day, for the first time, and didn't want to take them off after the first mile of walking in them. Sassy and comfortable, that's enough to make me want to buy every last pair of shoes she sells. :)
