All The Stars May Have Aligned....

Do you ever have those moments that you feel is just meant to be?  As you know I have slowly been decorating my house and its been more on the very slow side lately.  Since all the great summer sales have ended it has given me the opportunity to focus a little more on decorating.  I don't know if you remember but awhile ago I posted this bed and didn't know where it was from.  I kept the image in the back of my mind and wanted to find that bed or something very similar.  Welllllll, I was browsing eBay this weekend and I think I may have found a company to do a version of this bed for me.  Nothing is set in stone but I am SOOO excited about the possibility.  Stay tuned....

What I Love About Your Look....

Where do I start because I really love it all.   I love that this outfit is a combination of pieces that most of us have in our current wardrobe and can easily duplicate.  I must say, though, that favorite part of this look has got to be the cut hem of the denim shirt.  Genius!  Overall its just effortlessly cool!  I have added a denim shirt to my thrift store list so I can try this too.  I hope you all had a great week and have an even better weekend.

Modern Tie Dye....

I bought this skirt at the same time that I picked this one up.  There was something about the color and the pleating detail that I couldn't resist.  I am continuing on my obsession of all things bright so I pulled out this cardi to add a layer and another splash of color.  Also, while wearing it I noticed that it had an ever so slight flower detail hidden in the tie dye effect.  I love finding little unexpected details like that, don't you?

My new bracelet from J Crew.  It reminds me of something from my grandmother's jewelry box.  Can't wait to add this to an outfit!

My Take On the LBD.....

I have tons of LBDs (Little Black Dresses) and I don't think that you can ever have too many.  I found this dress at Saks when I was in Arizona a few weeks ago and loved all the cute details on it, the reverse seams and the girly ruffle at the hem to name a few.  Its very versatile and can be a stand alone dress with some chunky jewels or be a more everyday look which I wore below.  I absolutely can't get enough of this little pin that I bought at J Crew.  Its like the next level of the broach!

I Still Love my Boyfriend's Clothes.....

I know that with the popularity of skinny jeans and all things feminine the boyfriend look has taken a back seat.  I, however, still love this look from time to time.  Especially on those days when you just want a no nonsense outfit.  You have to be careful with this because it can and will look sloppy if you aren't careful.  Remember to just keep it as feminine as you can and don't go to overboard with how over sized you wear your bottoms.  Happy Monday everyone!!!

What I Love About Your Look.....

In keeping with my bright colored mood that I seem to be in, I found this lovely look.  What I love about it is the color, of course, the cute bow detail at the back, and the dark mint accessories to top it all off.  I hope you all had a great week and have an even better weekend.
